Elise describes her mission below!

"I'm going to Costa Rica to partner with Face of Justice Ministries (@faceofjustice_cr) defending the most defenseless, and walking as a light in the darkness of sex trafficking. Forced prostitution runs rampant in a culture that devalues women, and shame covers many people trapped in bars, on the streets, and in the darkest hidden corners of the city. I will be working in a safe house for minors that have been rescued, loving people and praying for intervention in Central America’s largest brothel, and learning about legal advocacy with the Costa Rican Child Protection Services and FBI equivalent. There is a lot of work for love to do, and my heart for the Spanish language and for the redemption that only Jesus can bring is exactly what is bringing me to this place."
