This Mission Policies

The $400 non-refundable deposit, is NON-Refudable. This secures your spot on a mission trip. Due to limited spots available and having to secure spots in Costa Rica months in advance, we cannot make any exceptions.

After payments have been made, we can refund 50% of the total amount (not including $300 non-refundable deposit), until two months prior to the trip date. Up until the date of the trip, we can refund 30% of the payment.
Understand that This Mission puts down payments on the accommodations in Costa Rica months in advance, as well as reserves individual spots. This is why we have strict policies.

If there is a major medical or financial problem that has occurred, not allowing you to go on the trip; decisions on refunding will be made on a case by case basis, by an executive from This Mission, with advice from the Board of Directors.

We understand that health, financial, and family matters change, so we will attempt to serve you in the best way possible.
4.
If the trip is canceled due to safety concerns for the team, or any other circumstance outside the control of This Mission, your deposit that you have put down will be put toward a mission trip for the next year. The cost of flights will not be reimbursed.
5.
Any flight booked by This Mission is non-refundable. If a trip is cancelled or an individual cancels their trip, This Mission will attempt to get flight credit to be used on a future This Mission mission trip. This Mission will not give any reimbursements for flights.

This Mission is not responsible for any theft while on mission trips. Please be responsible and understand that we are in other countries. All participants must sign a waiver prior to going on a trip led by This Mission. You must be over 18 or over to go on a This Mission mission trip, or have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
7.
Please understand that we are a new non-profit working on a tight budget. We will do everything in our power to work in an honorable and responsible manner. However, please know that we are a business and can't always accommodate financial requests that people make.
